Allison Williams joins A Series of Unfortunate Events

Great news!! Allison has joined Netflix’s adaptation of Lemony Snicket’s “A Series of Unfortunate Events”. She broke the news on her Instagram and also let us know that she will part of the season 2 and 3. She is currently in Vancouver shooting season 3, and she has been very busy as she also finished the filming of ‘The Perfection’ in that same city.

We still don’t know what character Allison will be playing, but in only a few days we will find out as the second season of A Series of Unfortunate Events will be available March 30th on Netflix.

In other news, we also have a release day for ‘Patrick Melrose‘ as Showtime announced that the first episode will have its premiere on May 12, 9PM ET/PT.

‘Get Out’ Receives Four Oscars Nominations

The nominations for the 90th Annual Academy Awards have been announced this morning and “Get Out” scored four nominations. I am so excited that the film was not overlooked by The Academy because it deserves all the recognition is getting. Major congratulations to Daniel Kaluuya and to the genius behind this film, Jordan Peele for their nominations, also congratulations to the cast and crew for their Best Picture nomination. You can check out the categories where the film is nominated.

‘The Shape of Water’ was the film with most nominations with thirteen and you can read the whole list of nominations here.  The ceremony will take place on March 04, 2018.

With just a few more hours of 2017, I thought it would be a great idea to review 2017 as it was such an important year in Allison’s career.

“Get Out” Nominated for Two Screen Actors Guild Awards

The good news continues for the cast and crew of “Get Out”. Early this morning, the nominations for the 2018 Screen Actors Guild Awards were announced and I’m so pleased to let you know that the film scored two nominations. Even Allison got one as the whole cast of “Get Out” is nominated for Oustanding Performance by a Cast. Daniel Kaluuya also obtained one nomination for his performance as Chris Washington.

Make sure to watch the ceremony on January 29, 2018.
